About Me

I’m going to go out on a limb and say it. I love sales! Not because I’ve got the “gift of the gab” … actually, I’d say the opposite is true.

As a leader of various sales teams, I’ve built a career working with and developing sales teams, my own and my client’s, across a range of sectors including; dentistry, engineering and explosives spanning the UK, America, Australia and a number of European countries.

Although I started out in engineering with Rolls-Royce, I quickly realised that selling was what I was destined for. Working my way up through sales, management and training functions to become Sales & Marketing Director of the KaVo America Corporation in Chicago.

In 2005 myself and 2 partners set up Medenta Finance Ltd. Within 6 years, our fabulous team had built the business through reputation alone, from zero to £25,000,000 per year in treatment finance, selling to Practice Plan Ltd in 2011. Proof you can exceed targets with the right sales approach.

Fast forward a few years and I developed Profitable Conversation to give clients access to a range of flexible training programmes to suit their business.

Training in communication, presentation and negotiation skills, focused to suit their business, the market, pre-determined targets and the individuals tasked with making the sales. Whether it’s one to one, classroom workshop, accompanying them out in the field, or a mixture of both.
